I have a f800gs as a loan bike at the moment and the gear change is perfect so why can they get it right on a much cheaper bike and then fail miserably on such a premium well developed £14000 bike....

Should have just stayed with a dry clutch.

finding neutral is not a problem. Bike at BMW being fitted with a new pushrod and slave cylinder , also they will lower the engine oil level to the red circle . With the clutch cover off it seems that excess oil sits at the bottom of the clutch housing , whether this makes any difference , not sure , but worth the quote.
Lets hope this works as off to Spain on Tuesday !!!!!

Like they never went wrong and were so easy to change![]()
My clutch has done over 90,000, mixed riding including off road and track days. Still good. Plenty of people get over 100,000 miles out of them.
Granted they are time consuming to change but I don't see any reason why they couldn't have relocated it to the front as in the WC but still used a dry unit. They seem to work fine in one or two cars as well.

Hey Sticky Boy, ask them to check clutch master cylinder fluid level
Report back how she rides baby![]()

Happy to hear that.
Do you the chance of getting the part number of the new pushroad?
