I dropped into Blackbushe airport today (Camberley) to mix with like-minded old farts.

For a change, here are some partial pics of the bikes. See how many you can accurately recognise - I'll post the full pics later.

The prize? Oh yes, the prize is a warm glow and a feeling of superiority over your fellow tossers. Money can't buy that.

I agree with the majority, only I think the Blue Kwacker is a lil un KH250 . The third one down might be a 550 cos didn’t Paul own one not so long ago ?

What caused more interest to me than the bikes a few weeks ago, was the old Vickers Viscount in the hangar with a DC3.

Brought back the schoolboy plane spotting memories.

The Honda four was a CB550 Four K3, the blue kwacker was a 250 and I guess the only clue to the RD being a 400 was slightly fatter exhausts... maybe?

That CBX - what is it, about 45 years old - is still an absolutely jaw dropping motorcycle.

If I could have taken one home, the GT750 kettle might have been the winner.

I love the XJR Yamahas with the standard cans on; they were beautifully made bikes and the standard cans suited them to a tee; i have seen XJR exu systems fitted to modified FJR 1100 & 1200s that look better than the systems they originally came with;; then again that could just be me.

I always fancied a CBX1000 but could never find one at a price I was happy to pay

I did buy a Z1300 off that thieving scouse bastid Kenny and never once regretted it

Commando mk3 for me please coz I’ve ridden a couple, but never owned one.
And looks like that one has been well sorted…Maxton forks, twin disks etc…
