I've just cleaned my front wheel using Wonder Wheels cleaner as per usual. I used my normal shampoo(Autoglym)to wash off cleaner and was left with a white "milky" finish to the rim which I can't seem to shift. Any ideas?

Had the same problem once with a special wheel cleaner fluid. It was one you were supposed to spray on then rinse off failry quickly. I got rid of the marks with good ol' WD40 and a rag. A mate of mine had the same problem after driving through disinfectant mats in Ireland when the foot and mouth problem was at it's height - I told him about my problem with the wheel cleaner and he used WD40 too - guess what , it worked again so chances are you should get a result. It's great for getting stickers off too - especially off CD covers....just thought I'd throw that in for good measure.
Let us know if it works......but don't use it to clean your brake discs !!!

WD 40,

very clever stuff, I was touring in Spain a few years back, and complained about stiff joints, especially knees, and one of the group who is a distubutor of the famous blue can suggested using WD 40.

I thought he was taking the p'ss and trying to sell more product, but eventually I tryed it and HEY.... it worked.

It got to the stage when every morning 12 grown men & women stood there in the street with rolled up trousers whilst he sprayed our knees, must of looked a sight?

I also clean my hands with it after working on the car that has been waxoiled, gets it of a treat.
