Glue removal;
try (on a small unobtrusive place first, just in case) Acetone / nail varnish remover.

Acetone can be a bit agressive on "plastic" - I'd try alcohol first & as the previous man said if acrtone is required find an area where you can experiment & subsequently hide any failures.

Should be ok on plastics

Then you need a contact adhesive that is suitabe for use on plastic or fibreglass (depending on what the helmet is )
