Recently I have covered my W reg 2000 GS1150 (non ABS) with ACF50 being very careful not to get any on my brakes but since doing this I now have a clicking noise coming from my front brakes and only when I apply them. I have cleaned thoroughly the front callipers with brake cleaner and also the discs. I have noticed an amount of play in the front discs and have compared this with a few other GSs and have found that mine are slightly looser. This clicking noise is not to be confused with rattling that other members have mentioned in various threads and has only developed since applying the ACF50. Could this be a coincidence or has anyone else experienced this and what was the cure. Cheers Jay.

Gould be a coincidence with the spay,
i had a similar sort of thing on my 1100. Turned out to be the little spring washers between the disc and the head of the domed bolt.
a few of mine had cracked so leaving more play for things to move around.

I have now solved the problem

By sqirting brake cleaner on each individual bolt that secures the disc to the wheel and pushing the disc left to right . Now all is well and the brakes are much better than they were . Cheers Jay:thumb2
