Climber rescued twice after going back for lost phone!

Just though i would share this great story from last year for the new Hiking section.

The Chinese student, who lives in Japan, was first rescued by helicopter on Tuesday while on the Fujinomiya trail.
But days later, he returned to the mountain to retrieve belongings that he left behind, including his phone. He was rescued again on Saturday after suffering from altitude sickness. 🤣

True story....once out on a walk when my mates and I came across a small group of Japanese walkers at our planned rest spot. It was chilly and I remember saying in all innocence "there's a bit of a nip in the air tonight" when one of them took offence. It was then that I knew I'd effed up :ROFLMAO:
