Pricey has asked me to post to see if anyone has the answer. He has a 1150 GS (2002)

When the ignition is switched on the clock resets itself, there is no problem with starting as it turns over and starts on the second revolution, the battery seems to charge correctly.

Does the clock has a seperate power source from the main battery to hold the memory, if not has anyone else had a problem like this?

Blown fuse? If the clock disappears as soon as the ignition's off and comes back as 0:00 when turned on then exactly the same symptoms I had for a blown fuse.

My clock has given uo the ghost, off when ignition off, works ok when ignition on. Checked fuse three, it's ok. looked on ADV site and someone suggested RID ground. Anyone know where that is or of any other potential culprits.

Cheers

Simon
