Hi,
Have my 2015 R1200 GSA for almost 4 months now bought it new, it's been the best bike I have ever owned and it's been amazing, never had the clonky gear shifting on it...how ever I took it to the dealer for 10000 km (had 12000 km on the bike) service. After I picked it up the bike feels rougher and upshifting from first to second and sometimes into the third it's clonky a few times even the shifter would rattle on my foot. It also feels like if the throttle or the clutch is acting diffrent! making me having a little doubt in my skills of shifting! I want my smooth beautiful bike back.....

Did they loan you a courtesy bike? ............... if yes is it possible that it had a better gearbox and you are noticing the difference with yours?

Yes they gave me a F800Gs, but I have never felt rattling on my foot during gearshift except last year in the Alps riding a 2013 GS, that bike was bad....Hope that is the case.

Ask the dealer if they have done the inevitable flash ECU service update during the service, the latest one can haver an effect the gear change, also according to the service department at my dealer there have been problems with some bikes after updates and they have had to be reflashed

Correct - I needed a double flash

Thanks guys, I did talk to my mechanic who is a great guy and a great mechanic at the dealer...Aparently my bike the first one to be updated with the new software and he feels the same about it, I will take the bike for a good run on the weekend and if still feels the same then I have to call him!
