I’ve used a couple of equine saddlers for leather repairs in the past, they’re obviously competent in working with leather and can be very competitive on simple repairs.

A lot of basic repairs to motorcycle kit can be done by people not necessarily always associated with motorbikes. To a half competent seamstress, a zip replacement in a jacket (say on a cuff) is “Just a zip replacement”; the jacket does not necessarily need to be sent halfway across the country to a ‘specialist’.

I did live in Rotherham once upon a time and a local chap I knew wanted a simple massage (so he said) and he popped into a local massage parlour.

Unsure of the name of the lady he saw but he was offered lots of other services, none of which seemed to me to be connected to massages.

Just had a zip replaced for my Rukka Jacket. Used Hill4leathers - What a brilliant service, took the jacket in to them Monday and picked it up today. Really good job.
