Clunky drive train

Firstly this is not a complaint just a quick question.

Been out on the HP2 again most of the weekend to finish the running in process... still managed to have loads of fun... but have just been wondering.

Compaired to my old 1150GSA there seems to be much more snatch/ free play when coming on and off the throttle, especially noticeable in lower gears, but I'd expect that.

Is this normal?

yeah, gave me the sh..s when i was going slow while touring. Why does the bike behave like this. It would be a much nicer engine without the snatchy throttle thing...Anyone out there tell us why???

Noticed it on mine when new, but with 4000 miles on it don't notice it any more. So could be a "tight engine" thing.

Have you tried tightening the chain

Wound the rubber band back up and it seems much better

anybody find wheelies feel odd with such a soft back end?

or am i running the shock to soft

been playing with the settings all week but cant seem to get the feel right
