I've had a good search but still a little unclear how this all works.

It would seem I need a speedbleeder? which from what I can get is M10 screw type nipple connector which I replace the grub screw with?

Now, if I was to bleed the clutch manually, I will undo the nipple pull the clutch in, tighten the nipple replease the clutch, repeat. with a speedbleeder All I would have to do is force the fluid in? or drew the fluid.
Very unsure, why can't it have a normal bleed nipple fitted :)

You can shout at me if I have totally misunderstood how it works.

Cheers
Garv

The grub screw was seized in mine. I simply loosened the union, wrapped loads of rags around adjacent paint, pulled the lever released the union, nip the union, release the lever, repeat. Change rags frequently so the fluid doesn't soak through and knacker the paint.

Worked fine. 15,000 miles later no problems.

i've done similar when i couldn't find a spare nipple to fit the union :thumb2

No, you just close the nipple down before you release the lever every time.

If you don't have a brake nipple just hold the ball bearing down with a small screwdriver and bleed it.

No need at all for a speed bleeder on an 1150 clutch. Stop reading technical advice on american forums :D

Just to keep the mess down I screw a normal bleed nipple in with a bit of pipe attached going to any old bottle jar etc. Just as steptoe says, its just to push the little ball bearing in a bit.
Never bothered with all this open/close as you pull the clutch in etc, as you dont need to on a clutch bleed. Just operate the clutch lever to push the old stuff out and keep the reservoir topped up.
Unscrew the nipple, refit the grub screw, wipe up, done.
As its so easy to do, I change it every year regardless. This way I have never had the grub screw seize up.

How did you know I was reading Yanky forums :)

I will have a bash at the weekend with it.

Where is a good place to buy a alternator belt, Mine is slipping a little. Gone though all the docs I have and nothing for a alternator belt so might as well change it as its going to be taken apart to tighten anyway.

your local autofactors

4PK611 thru to 4PK 615 will fit

Then again maybe you just need to tension yours properly ?

I am sure Steptoe has a change alternator belt thingy in the Font ?

EDIT found it

So I could ask for 4PK611, 4PK612, 4PK613, 4PK614 or 4PK615 and all will fit?

thanks
