Clutch compatibility 08 Adventure

I'm having problems with clutch action. I've got other things to check but the action is smooth so pretty sure it's hydraulics.
Just in case I've been checking out clutch parts. Full kits at new cost are seriously not cheap so I've looked at low mileage used. This raises the question.
Was the same clutch used on all hexhead 1200GS models or even RTs?
In case I need to buy - can anyone say if a pre 2008 (Mk1) will fit a Mk2 2008-2009. Also will RT clutch fit the GS.

Thanks that really will be handy if I need new parts - really I'm not being sarky .

However I'm looking for lightly used parts. For example will an older or later GS or even RT clutch fit my 2008?

Ive found a possible source of friction plates (still to confirm) but what if the pressure plate has failed? Brand new, they cost a fortune making lightly used look very attractive. To reduce the odds of finding one, I need to know if all GS or RT models use the same clutch system.

i think your missing the point bendy,by cross referencing part numbers from the diff models and years you mentioned you can see if the same part fits across the models.

The realoem site give part numbers for each model per year enabling you to do the cross referencing as needed.
