So I agreed to help someone with an 1150 GSA "drive problem" like there was none:blast

Step 1: should have been 2 but anyway, pulled slave cylinder, yes leaking horribly, so assume clutch wet, (could turn rear wheel in gear) so pulled box and swapped clutch, slave etc, there was fluid in the clutch area but not enough really for symptom, but clutch was at minimum anyway

Step 2: rebuild, bleed it all, grab rear wheel in gear still turns:blast

Step 3: pull gaitor on bevel box, yes lots of sticky rubber stuff, fit new drive shaft all cool :D

Step 4: Test ride, idles OK, good clutch, box etc etc, but it doesnt pull from the bottom like mine, mine is an old 99 single spark versus this 2002 I think GSA, so I pull the aux plugs, both are sparking like heroes, pull the primary stick coils nothing no change:cool: Both of them dead, this has been an expensive weekend for my mate:ronno

It's funny how many problems can be found when you look: It happened to me when I started taking the gearbox off. :blast

What's happening with your gearbox? :nenau

Getting ready for the pain of pulling it, whilst seeing what a couple of plane tickets to the Mud Island for 2 weeks at Easter are gonna rip me, the combined costs do not look like fun:blast I dont use it daily so it wasnt an issue, now the wifes motor is getting "issues" so need to do something, at least work is only 5 mile away so we can ignore the box a few days:D
