Went to pul away and the clutch lever went to the and bike stalled, bike had been standing for a week away on a course.

Started stripping the bike apart today and found that there is a wet area around the bleed nipple side of the slave cylinder but not the main feed in, is it worth changing both or just the one?
The main one looks ok to me

The bolt might just need tightening.
But the ali washers on the small banjo bolts have a habit corroding, causing leaks.

And the metal part of the main pipe from the master cylinder, where it joins the slave can also corrode (picture has been posted here many times).

Thanks for that steptoe

Have taken the whole unit off now and the bleed pipe does look very rusty but the main one has no rust on it.

Just trying to find out if i can get a new pipe or if its the whole unit.

Should there be grease in there? when i took it of looked like it had been packed with grease? no rubber seal over the end though.

Mick
