Clutch master cylinder piston actuator to fit 1250 GSA - 2024 wanted, please!

Hi,

Sorry I don't know the correct part name (and couldn't find it in the OEM parts list) or description but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand word please see the photo below

Whilst fitting an aftermarket clutch lever i damaged this part and am hoping to replace it.

If anyone has one they would like to sell me it would be very much appreciated or even just the part number.

It is one of the components of the clutch lever assembly, ie when you pull in the clutch lever on the handlebars this is the part which actually pushes on the piston in the cylinder. It is a part of the lever assembly.

thank you for taking the time to respond, i was thinking down the same lines, ie it was not available separately and would need to look at sourcing a full assembly

If it’s only the thread that’s damaged, it looks like it could be cleaned up with a thread file or die.

I believe that part is simply called a "Push Rod"

Are these any help? Available in different colours on ebay.

unfortunately the photo is of the good one on the clutch side
the marks are where the locking grub screw locks onto the threads, when i took the first one off i wasn't wearing my glasses and didn't realise there was a locking grub screw as such the threads are pretty much mullered (too much for me to trust my braking on it!)

thank you, being called a push rod makes sense, i did see these after victor's reply and may well be worth a try if i cant get an oem one off a scrap assembly (i did email motorworks but they don't have any second hand assemblies available)

i appreciate your suggestion

I'm pretty sure I have a complete clutch handle bar assembly - I broke the handlebar clamp.

I'm away on holiday at the moment and will be back on Friday.

If I do have one you can have it for the cost of postage.

It goes without saying everything has an use......why my grandfather had a garage full to the gunnels of thrown away or discarded nuts n bolts and all sorts. He was forever picking up bolts and things dropt by others who thought it worthless junk.
I am sure people on this Forum have mountains of gold just waiting to be discovered. Well done Bob Jeffries
