Just fitted a rekluse clutch but want to fit a new set of fibre plates.

I have searched everywhere but nobody seem to sell them except genuine BMW and then you have to buy the complete kit half of which I won't use.

Anybody know anywhere I can get some fibre plates?

I've just been looking at the BMW parts fische and it shows the same OEM part numbers for the complete clutch kits for the Xchallenge and a 2007 f650 Dakar.

The EBC part number is CK5635.

Has anyone fitted the EBC friction plates and in a position to confirm this?

Thanks for the reply, but I am after where I can get just the fibre plates from.

I should have been clearer. EBC do the fibre only kits as per your later post.

I was just commenting on how much the OEM kit is from BMW for comparison once you have the EBC fibre plates price.

Ok got the above EBC clutch plates and fitted them with the rekluse.

Gave it a good test with 4 days off roading in the Pyrenees and I have to say what a great improvement. You just feel that there is nothing you can't go up or down an tight turns going up the mountain are just so easy and controlled.

Riding in traffic is so effortless and no more changing between 1st and 2nd. Just stop and go! No more stiff clutch and aching left arm and hand.

Highly recommended! :thumb2
