I have my r100 rebuilt and running nicely, the clutch is adjusted correctly and works sweetly, until I cracked open the throttle at 5000 rpm the clutch slipped for a moment before the bike took off!I am kicking myself as I have rebuilt the bike and changed almost every moving part on the bugger the clutch looked ok !I wonder if it's the night comp pistons and gas flow putting out more power
Do I need a new clutch kit or am I missing something ? It's my first airhead and I wonder if there is something I am not doing

When you greased the gearbox input shaft splines, did you put any grease on the female clutch splines?

If you did, it gets pushed out forwards by the gearbox shaft and spun out into the clutch, hence the clutch slip. There is a reason why I know this
