I'm baffled by this one! The problem is a fairly common one, bike won't start when in gear (starts fine in neutral). I've checked the side stand switch and clutch lever switch using my GS-911, both are showing as working correctly. If I put the stand down the GS-911 picks it up and if I pull the clutch lever in the GS-911 picks it hope. I can even hear the clutch lever microswitch clicking when operating the lever.

Incidentally I'm waiting for the bike to run through the 'self checks' before pulling the clutch in and pressing the start button....

Possibly the clutch switch has been replace at some point and installed the wrong way around?

Any thoughts on what might be going on?

Thanks!

Update: The microswitch was so far out of adjustment it was being triggered when the lever was at rest, so the bike would start in gear with the clutch out! A bit of adjustment later and it's now working as designed.
