Hi friend,
I have searched for several weeks now and have not found any aftermarket clutch options for the 800gs other than the ridiculously expensive suterclutch (wunderlich) clutch. All the normal stores don't have anything.

Can you please point me in the right direction for something reasonable in price and quality.
Thanks

I don't think there's too many folks on here who have chased this mod.

Maybe try advrider - i'm fairly certain there was a lot of talk of Rekluse (sp?) clutches when the bike came out but i'm not sure whether anything came of it.

Best,

S

Rekluse are proposing to release a clutch for the f800gs in a month or two. This information is from email that I have sent to them.

Bad news.
After another e-mail I have found out that they are doing a soft launch. First I was told I would be able to order at the start of June ship at the end of June. Now I cant order till July. I might just order the wunderlich clutch.
I wish companies read these forums/posts. They would learn a whole lot.

Why on earth would you want an 'after market clutch'?

108,000 miles on my 800GS, adjusted once, slightly, in the first month or two (2008) and never touched since. All sorts of use/abuse, der Nürburgring, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, deserts of Morocco, off roading quite a bit .... Stella Alpina, overland to Iran & Pakistan and along the Karakorum Highway ....

Not one hint of a problem :thumb

Mind is just starting to slip under hard acceleration. No I don't want an aftermarket clutch but I need one.

Dunno what your technical expertise is, and don't want to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, but you must always, always, always have some free play up at the lever :)

You'll be surprised at the number of bike's I see that have none .... a recipe for certain disaster :nenau
