If someone gives you a location co-ordination for the gps

example N53.59.735.W14.685

How do you find it on the mapsource on the computer.

I've been scrolling the mouse until I've got near the location.

Ideas please gents

Or just press Ctrl + T and enter the coords and it does it in one step.

PS depending on the format of the coordiantes you may need to change the settings in preferences but that's easy too and if you managed to eneter it as a WP it sounds like you have the correct format already set up.

I'm sure someone will know. I have set up my GPS to use GB Ordnance Survey Grid Refs. The problem I've got is that I've been given co-ordinates to use as foreign waypoints.

Will I have to use the same format for all waypoints or can I "mix and match" ie use some Grid Refs and some co-ordinates ?
