Popped in to Pidock BMW this weekend and noticed that the 2018 has a single piece cockpit trim.
Really like the look of it as it does away with the middle clear part.

Anyone know if this would fit the 2013-17 bike?

The one on the right side 46_1994 looks exactly the same as my 1200 GS LC 2017 Euro 4 model, if that helps, actually it is the same.

That's because it's a model year 2018 bike. and they introduced the change halfway through the model year.

Looking at thread again seems the OP has a GSA, the GS part looks a tad different in the corners, or is it optical.............

Mine is a GS Exclusive and has the one piece unit as I had the black metal section on my 15 plate bike.

2018 model GSA (K51) still has the three part trim with a centre clear section

Mine was built in May 2017 according to VIN number

Yes, and mine. I managed to confuse myself (easily done). These are the 2017.5 bikes, as they were released in 2017 but contained all of the updates seen on the MY 2018 bikes.

Well sorry to the OP for changing a little the thread, but according to the dealer yesterday, our 2017 bikes cannot get a retrofit of the TFT screen, but the 2018 models can have either, why I do not know, dealer just said new models 600 euro more for a TFT, so there must be a little change somewhere.

With similar apols to the OP, the only change is the tft, which no doubt is just to the addition of a different canbus/wiring.

The trim panel is a straight swop. Looked at doing the same myself to get rid of the clear plastic centre part that is a pig to keep clean but instead retained the 2 outer parts and bought Touratech centre part which looks really good.

I’ll have a look at the Touratech part and see what the price difference is.

Our own tame fabricator (Mark Hooten) of Cymarc also makes a metal centre piece.... so you dont have to pay TT....
...and very good it is too.
