I read some people have really hot grips on level 3-too hot to hold. My grips on level 3 is what I expect level 1 to feel like.

My seat used to be too hot to leave on at level 3. But my seat heating controller just got replaced and now my level 3 seat heat setting is only just noticable.

I assume this can be coded at a bmw workshop but my dealer seems to think this is not so. It was on the 1250GS and eSYS.

Any one know.?

The fact I have differrent seat heating levels after the controller has been changed also suggest the heating levels are able to be changed.

my understanding is that you can code in more "steps" - i.e. 5 rather than 3 - but that means that each step is 20% higher rather than 33%

on "full" is still full - whether its number 5 of number 3, if you see what i mean

Thanks.
That does not sound good for my seat.
