Col d'Aubisque open today :)

We were pleased to find on our ride out today that Col d'Aubisque is finally open. Lots of work has been carried out and the road is in great shape, ready for summer

Yesterday we rode over Col du Tourmalet from Bagneres de Bigorre, the route the other side down into Bareges is officially closed but we were able to get through OK.

Hi Phil, given your knowledge of the area, could you recommend any towns worth staying in on the French side of the Pyranees? Will be passing through and looking for somewhere to stop over - preferably somewhere with a few bars / restaurants! Thanks!
