How much fun is that early on a Thursday morning when the sun is out and there is hardly anyone on the road?
Stunning views to go with it too.

Sounds great, will be doing this one in a few weeks.

How many push bikes overtook you :augie
One on the way up, but I had stopped to take a photo.
Didn't see any on the way down.
I did clock one guy at nearly 70kph down one pass earlier in the trip and some of them heading to Bormio off the Stelvio were just nuts.

August 22nd 2014, about 7pm and 2 degrees centigrade - very memorable, the descent through Val d'isere to Bourg St. Maurice wasn't bad either.

Yep one of the best passes and a shed load of fun:thumby:
