I thought I'd recomend this kit, the material is very muh the same as the BM skin diving suit stuff someone was on about in a previous thread

I've got the maxi tube and can attest to its warmth, wind and water resistance. I'm ordering the Sports pants after being so impressed with the maxi tube. You can order direct from the site but I found a stockest in Lincoln, Mark Phillips
Motorcycle Clothing Newark Road, Aubourn, Lincoln (if your local enough and want to see the stuff)

I've no conection with either company, just thought I'd share a find :)

yep

I have the sort of polo pull over and it works very well, in fact surprisingly well

I bought a neck thingie made by Buffalo for £15 from cheapo bike gear suppliers J&S accessories.

It blocks the bit 'twixt lid and jacket an absolute treat and was worth it's weight in gold in the winter.

Not so impressed with their inner gloves - too bulky underneath my normal gloves and I found it a real pain operating switches.

Can anyone recommend an inner glove made of really thin material which actually works ?

Have cold-killer glove liners which I have to wear with bigger gauntlet stylie gloves which are OK.

Have an Anti-Freeze ballyclava with combined neck warmer and that is fantastic and leaves me feeling nice and toastie (with the heated jacket of course).

Top kit. One day I hope to be small enough for the other stuff :D

Don't buy the socks!

Got the gloves, face mask and socks. The socks is however the most useless piece of equipment I have ever come across and a waste of £20.

Cheers

inner gloves

try a pair of silk inner gloves thin as you like and supposed to work.

Also those mechanic gloves are useful as they should provide some protection against the cold and damp
