Collected today and fitted remus with pics.

Collected mine today from Benhams a nice 40 mile trip home, the bike felt much better than the demo bike i rode so was even more surprised.

On collection @ Benhams .

So to start off my tinkering with farkles i removed the original screen and the smaller screen than masked the outer on the small screen and rattle caned the inner in satin and refitted and fitted my tinted screen.

The outcome .

Next up was removal of the dustbin exhaust for a stainless Remus my first choice was titanium however non in stock so went with the stainless and tbh glad i did as it matches the headers and has a lovely slightly brushed finish to it

On start up with baffle in its loud i was surprised and has a lovely deep bark to it, so ill be leaving the baffle in .

My tinkering had to stop at this point otherwise she was packing my bags and throwing me out and as i can't wash my own socks i had to do as told for once, so the boxes of other bits will go on another day.

Some touratwat stuff that eventually arrived but still waiting for one item, couple bits from NN that arrived promptly and splash covers from bmw, MH farkles, I've got some rolls of venture shield left so going to cut all my own pieces and cover the areas subject to wear and stone chipping like the fork legs.

I'm going to modify the gear lever as i find its position odd, the centre stand may come off ( i do have a paddock stand ) being 5ft nothing and like a wet rag its pointless trying to get it on the centre stand and my riding style I'm finding my heel touches the stand as it did on the TC and until theres a hugger out I'm going to make a wally flap from the under tray extender ( adjacent to the shock ) so that it protects the swinger from marks.

Oh and on my way home I had a stone in the rad, its a good impact but never leaked I've repaired the fins so fitting rad guards is a must for anyone .

When i first approached piddy's they offered £300 disc on the bike and 10% off any bits to do a deal that month, however i felt they applied the disc to easy as i did not even have to haggle so set about a £400 discount but after haggling they went as far as £365 and let me walk out the door for £35 there last statement with a smug look was you wont get a better deal anywhere else !
So as i was set on £400 as thats the figure i had in my head i called Benhams the following morn spoke to David whom i purchased a TC from told him what had been offered and what it would take to get my business and I'd buy over the phone, he gave me £400 disc off the bike 10% off any extras ie tank bag/crash bars/tinted screen/splash guards, i also got free fit on the crash bars and the 1st service is labour free and the bike was at Benhams within one wk from ordering however due to a worldwide shortage i had to wait a total of 3 wks before i could collect because of the crash bars.

On collection the bike was sitting in there showroom with a cover over it, the handover was very professional and they even supplied me with an extra no plate (foc) with the pp I'm putting on when it comes back from dvla.

I've dealt with piddy's for many years and its sad to say there new staff are clueless.

Oh yeah fook the fence I've got a bike to ride .
