Colourful disc mounting bolts

I recently ordered yet another pair of front discs as the last lot were warped and they arrived today together with a new set of mounting hardware.

The disc mounting bolts have the bottom section of the thread painted a pink/purple colour. Does anybody know what it is? I wondered whether it may be thread locking compound?

Actually I think this could be the difficult-to-come-by gay threadlock, by the sound of it.
