Who was staying in Anould in the Vosges/Alsace region in a B & B last week, then? You were on an Adventure with the plate FE03 *** and pulled out of a side street and stopped in the road just in front of us ('08 Silver 1200). We were based on the campsite in Corcieux just up the road. Sure I saw a UKGSer sticker on the front!

Hands up and well spotted ... it was probably me on my way from Germany via the Vosges to my namesake village in France and with Flag in the Peaks I've got two named after me ...

no UKGSer sticker though .... yet ...

That village boulangerie just looked too good to pass by so I had stopped and turned back to fill my bag for the days ride which ended in Abbeyville.

Second time through the Vosges on a bike for me but this time I had the Garmin set to no highways or major roads and discovered a wonderland I had missed the first time ....
