Can somebody tell me what they think of the Comfortshell suit in real hot weather? Here in Montreal, we can get a few weeks above 32C in the summer, and very, very humid. I like the fact that the Comfortshell is waterproof without the need for an inside removable liner, and if it was bearable in the heat, it would be great. The biggest challenge IS hot and rainy, isn't it?

Comfortshell......

I cant vouch for 32c temp, but because of the venting you do get a good through draft. In that sort of temp, anything is going to be warm, especially when you stop. There is no venting on the trousers, but if you wear shorts under them, when you stop anywhere, whip the trousrs off and you are sorted. But in summary, its about as good as you get being cool and waterproof
Hope that helps

Used Comfortshell suit last year on my trip to the Europe. First you must make sure it fits properly, the cut is a bit different from other jackets, I am a 50 EU and was snug, the material does stretch a bit. My jacket was completely waterproof but the trousers leaked ( there is a neoprene like material in the seat , when that is wet is like having a wet suit on,not pleasant). Maximum temperature I had was 38C , and was very comfortable ( on a 1200RT ). The armour when cold its very stiff, but as it warms up takes the shape of the body and becomes almost molded on you. I went for one size up (52) so I can put on a windstoper. The suit has no lining , apart from a mash type fabric. Still kept me warm in 5C.
This new fabric is amazing,no loss of colour.I went for the blue jacket. I would be selling mine soon,I am after a rukka waterproof leather jacket:mmmm
