Having just completed a 400 mile round trip in a day, I am happy to say that after trying airhawks, Sergent, gel pad strap on cushions, low seats etc that I have finally got a seat that offers good comfort without affecting the look/height of the seat.
It was 'rebuilt' by Viking Motorcycle Seats using a combination of gel pads and memory foam. They even put gel into all the nooks and crannies on the seat base to eliminate any shocks coming through the seat.
Total cost was £130. I wanted to retain the standard look of the seat, so the pic is a little pointless, but hey ho.

Ask for Lee, top bloke who listens to what you want. If you ride to him he will do a seat while you wait or he offers a postal service.
