So far so good! Bike runs so smooth! Bit lumpy until about 2.5 k and has and an odd whine at 3k! It’s seems happy!

Rear grab rail is a bit loose and there is a mm or so of play where it connects half way up the seat. To be investigated. Might have to put one of the mystery black 15mm washers in lol.

Awaiting a new led headlight cluster from Ali express and the magic adjuster from the specialist on here.

Added the CarPlay to the gps power connector under the tank. Damn thing wouldn’t switch off, so added a waterproof switch and I just switch it off and on as needed. Works great. Must add a few cable ties.

The cheap spots I put on are ok but really they are just a bit of fun. Noticed some nice chunky ones on ALI when buying the head lamp unit so I might buy them next month and move the cheap little ones somewhere else and just use them for extra presence in the city. Can’t wait to get the head lamp unit.

In the meantime, I’ve fork seals to do. Pannier rails to reattach and get rattle canned. Some wing deflectors and screen spoiler to reattach.

Painted the whole house since we were last chatting so I’m taking a wee break and the shed is in shite.

The bike is very different to when I started all this. It does not seem to leak oil through the rings on the side stand like it used to? Can’t figure that one out but the coils really have made a massive improvement.

If your bike is the same as my old one there a spare GPS connector under the beak at the front of the bike. It's ignition live but stays live for 20-30 seconds after the bike is switched off, then goes off. Try this fred to start with
