Coming to Tramore this weekend

Hi all
Im flying into Cork tomorrow from Manchester. Then hiring a car and off to Tramore for my Neice's birthday.
Hope to have a look around on saturday and maybe come back next year with the bike.
Can anyone suggest a decent route or two please? I know the roads arent that great but tat's what a gs is for!!

I don't know who told you that, we have some of the finest roads in the world!

Hit the caost road From Tramore to Dugarvan.If you want a longer spin go to Lismore from Dungarvan(visit Lismore Castle,royal family hang about there sometimes)and head for the Vee really nice on a good day I would'nt be arsed going if the weather is bad.That will keep you busy for the Day.

Cork Airport - N25 into Midleton - R627 to Tallow, Lismore - N72 Cappoquin, Dungarvan - then Copper Coast road R675 along the coast into Tramore. That'll keep you busy and a taste of what we have as 'GS' roads.

Lovely place. I had a run along the coast road as suggested, was a nice taster. I'm hoping to get out next year for a decent ride round.

There's a section of road down that direction where some very strange things happen. I've never seen it or been there but a friend has. Water flowing uphill etc. I'll find out more and post here.

the drive throught "the vee" is lovely... thats under Lismore and the vee drive..


and rockets bar/restaurant out by the metal man.. best colcannon and ribs around
