Common faults/improvement on Airhead GS's

I need a new 5 position ignition switch for my early G/S. MW have one at £153.00 plus postage. Ouch! Anyone know of a direct replacement at a better price?

Sadly no, I have needed one also and this was the best I could do.

Starter motor magnets fell off and seized the motor. Idiot lights failing.Shaft beginning to rumble? 54,000

20,000 miles on - been to Morocco and back and all the rest of it - shaft is fine, idiot lights are fine - just a new rotor for the alternator - great old bumblebeemer - can only get 38mpg at best tho!
