Export to Cyprus

Hi Kokkios.

I have been following your thread on the forum.

I have sold used bikes to customers in both Greece & Cyprus.

Have a look at our website, www.balderston.net and if there is something on there you like, I can arrange a quote for shipping to Cyprus.

My direct email is [email protected] and my phone number is +44 1733 565470, ask for TJ.

Not trying to blatantly advertise, but when I tried to PM, Kokkios couldn't receive so I had to resort to using the forum.

Thanks
TJ

Tis true, we pay VAT on the gross margin, before deducting cost of prep, warranty, commission etc etc on all non qualifying used sales.

So following on from this - used bikes (when bought from dealer) will increase in cost or the dealer will cover the VAT increase.

More than likely we'll take a hit on the stock held at the time the rate changes, after that it levels out again.

Since you are saying that is the way it goes it must be like that but to be honest am trying to think this logically and it still doesnt make much sense to me.

I mean someone bought the bike for the first time and paid VAT. Then someone sold the bike to the dealer and am guessing noone paid VAT. Then the dealer will sell the bike and pay VAT?

Thanks for offering to help out. Balderston is also bookmarked.

+1 for NOG. Both Phil, the manager, and Steve Pickford are inmates here.

The Cypriot guy who sells the GS i was referring to in post #31 got it from Oxford and he said they are really professional.

All in all, i decided to import from the UK. Get the bike i want with the extras i want and with a good price tag. In about 2 months i will be ready to make a move. I will definitely try and do business with the dealers i already contacted either through this thread or otherwise based of course on their stock at the time
