Ive got some corrosion on front engine cover, only a little bit but rang BVM in stroud to book a service and see if I could get an out of warranty replacement. (july05)

Hang on says the lovley service lady.

waited 30 seconds and back it comes
labour allowance = 0%
parts allowance = 0%

All done with no interference from humans. Sort of impressed with the technology but would love to know who wrote the program and what the defaults are.
Maybe I'm just being generous to BWM and the defaults are 0% on everthing and it was written on the back of a fag packet.

I went through this one - contacted my local dealer and they advised me to write to BMW Customer Services. They replied with a much better response - and provided the part free of charge.

Just picked bike up from the shop today - one new spoked rear wheel and one starter motor, both under warranty.
