Condensed milk - final drive!! Advice needed.

So, I gave my bike to the dealer to have a look for me (it was niggling and I wanted to be sure) 10 days ago, they said they'd have a look at it if I could leave it there for a few days and they'd fit it in.
Got the bike back, they said all seemed ok they re-fitted the gaiter that was out a bit and emptied out the remaining water and re-greased everything and all was well.

This weekend I decided to drain off the final drive oil and replace with new as they'd not done that for some reason, and yep....fucking milky again!! Now, I haven't ridden through as much as a puddle since getting the bike back from the dealer, so I was suspicious that they'd even bothered to check it (despite charging me £100+ for the privilege) so I dropped the final drive down and checked inside, sure enough water, and almost no grease anywhere, even the splines (both male and female) were slightly rusty and bone dry. I greased everything properly (which they said they did), soaked up the water (which they said the did), and fitted a new boot.

So it's back to the dealer in the morning, to invite them to explain to me exactly what they did, or rather didn't do.

Surprised me, I've had a good experience with Bahnstormer thus far and used them a number of times over the years, so this is quite disappointing, two of the guy's I ride with regularly also use them so it may be that NOG will be gaining 3 new customers from here on in.

Hope you took photos with date and time stamps on them as proof before you did your own work ? AFAIC that's theft, charging you for doing work they didn't do !! That's why I do my own, I know its been do right if I do it.

Took with me, and have now emailed over all of the date/time stamped photo's, waiting for an internal discussion with the service manager to take place (he's away this morning) and we'll go from there.
The last time I had to go back was when they under filled the bike at the last service, it needed half a litre to bring it back to just over half way in the red circle on the window, the wet behind the ears and very arrogant tech informed me he was right and I was wrong, I have requested that the twat is to never touch my bike again.

We'll see what today brings.

All further evidence, if it were needed that main stealers are a waste of time for getting your mighty steed serviced, well AFAIC anyway. If you must then a good indie is the way forward, they have a reputation to protect where as the main stealers couldnt give a toss as long as they have your dosh. Cynical, me ? bloody right I am seen it too often.
