Connector???

Hi all
New to forum just bought f650gs on Friday after wanting one as a second bike for years... Rode home coverring 300 miles on approximately 4 and a bit gallons UK and was well impressed when got home spotted a connector near right handlebar and was wondering if anyone could help me as to what it is for please?

Looks like a (sat nav) Tom-Tom connector
