Hope this is not old stuff but I wondered if anyone knows how to keep the instrument lighting on all the time rather than it working through the daylight sensor. I find the panel very hard to read, particularly when the sun visor on the helmet is down.
At night the instruments are much clearer and I would like to be able to get this clarity during the day.

You could put a small piece of insulation tape over the sensor ?

The light sensor is located on the top right hand corner of the dash, under the plastic cover.

An easy way to find its location is, while in dark space shine very closely a small, focused flash light. Keep in mind that it takes a few seconds for the system to adjust the brightness.

The proper way to cover the sensor would be to disassemble the dash and paint the sensor with some dark paint or to just simply cover it with a non transparent tape.

Keep in mind that disassembling the dash may render it non waterproof and most likely void its warranty.

Been a while since I've seen a helpful piece of advice. Thank you.

Thank you for not accusing UKIP of stealing your sensor, suggesting the sun doesn't shine as bright because Muslims are trying to force the lux level down and decided to start their cunning plan by affecting the GS light sensor. Thank you for not accusing the tories of redefining the way to measure lux or for suggesting a homosexual black person strangled your kitten and used its spleen to cover your sensor.

Thank you. Some helpful advice, not sure it catch on, but well done.

I'm pretty certain you can go into the computer pro settings and adjust the brightness of the LED display?

Now there's a thought.........

Stuart is the new name in homage to the blues singer Reggie P or a subtle homage to Reggie Perrin? If you plan to walk into the sea can I have your car ?
