the ole tyre thing again. Now that the ''good'' tourances are not available a change of boots is required. I don't go off road Sooooooo, this is a Conti road attack question. Has anybody got these on their 1200 and ARE they good and any idea on wear rates.

I have the Trail Attacks fitted, and I have never had a tyre this good, wet or dry, don't know how they will wear or how they are to the road attack, but usually the road version is stickier, so they should be good :thumb2

Great tyres, grip like a grippy thing-or even a pair of grippy things! Smooth riding and they lasted me as long as any other tyre I've had on a GS, in summary they are black, very round, grip great and last OK, oh and the tread pattern looks great :thumb2

i've got road attack and i love them.........the bike does drop easier into the corners and there is more fed back with them......great in the wet as well.........did 1800 miles touring round the highlands and they never let me down on any of the road surfaces i went on.......
but saying that the battlewings i had before never let me down, apart from flattening off.....
its all down to personal taste.......in what type you like most and feel comfortable with............my old feller has a 1200gsa and he will only have tourance on his.

Road Attacks

if you're a road rider, ride on road bias tyres...simple - multi-purpose are naff for pure road riding, too compromised.

the road attacks (which i'm currently running) are very good indeed, quick drop in, great grip (wet & dry), and appear to be lasting well after 2k miles. recommend you try.

I'm getting about 5/6000 miles out of rear on my HP2 - with hard touring and hooning about to work every day. I've found them to be very confidence inspiring to the point that I have nearly taken the chicken strips of the front 17incher. And i normally corner like a big girls blouse :o
