I had 020's on previously and got about 4000 out of the back and 9000 out of the front.
Think the conti's are a bit softer .Sort of answers my question really.
Interesting to see what everyone else gets in terms of mileage
Just put some on my 1150- Only had them for about 70 miles (most of it in the wet) but they seem like they have loads of grip. They do seem a lot softer than Tourances.
The front seems to grip way more and when leaned over it feels like there is loads more grip going on
Agree with other posters that I think that I wont see anywhere near the mileage of Tourances- reckon around 4-5000. We shall see.....
Just taken rear tyre off at 5680 punctured! but well worn. That was 4,200 around spain in 30/36 deg. in the dry, two up and well loaded, the rest solo.More grip than 020s absolutely stable at all speeds and ok on hard packed dirt roads. Also no problems in the wet. I have put a new one on the rear, the front will go to the harz in germany next week no worries. I will post mileage on front when i wear it out. oh I paid £156 for the pair fitted and balanced to loose wheels, seems good to me!
