I need some new tyres and after fitting a set of the above to my 1100 for winter I'm thinking of another set for the 1150 however........
I only did about 500 miles on them before I sold the bike so would like any info on longevity.
I've got TKC's on another set of wheels for playing so these will be primarily for commuting during the summer and winter riding and I'd like to get a year out of them.
I know the old Tourances last extremely well but the new EXP's look a lot more road orientated, like the trail attacks:nenau
I also found the old ones tended to break away suddenly when ridden enthusiastically in the dry:augie
I had a pair of cont escapes on a 100PD and thought they were great but others seem to think they're poo on the bigger bikes?
What you got / tried / reckon?
All info appreciated:thumb2

only done about 1000 miles on mine, so to early to judge wear, they seem to work well with the Tourance front, so much so, i have just ordered a new tourance front. ;)

I have fitted them on the 12GSA and I really like them, they are very confidence inspiring in all weather conditions - whilst I haven't taken them off-road ( TKC's are the only weapon of choice for me), they manage really well, and although they have only got 3k miles on them, they are showing little wear.

The only "characteristic" of note, is that they take a little while to warm up, nothing drastic, just a little normal than I wold expect a Tourance or similar. Other than that - Brilliant!

I've done a few thousand miles on my current set of Trail Attacks and find them to be like a really good set of Tourances. They inspire lots of confidence and my 1150 really turns better with the Contis. The front is showing a bit of wear after some 3k miles or so and the rear has definitely squared off but there is loads of tread and they feel fine on the road. They're very good in both the wet and dry.

I'd fit them again (if I keep the GS) :thumb2

Conti Trail Attacks

So much confidence in the wet.
Only done about 500kms on the rear, but I had such a blast today on wet roads..I've just gone and ordered another rear already :D

They squared off a bit doing 1500 miles to france and back, still plenty of tread and plenty of grip, they have now done 2500+ miles and are about a third worn :thumb

in my oppinion, they grip better than tourances, therefor i wont expect them to last as long,if tourances grip enough for you, get them, probably more milage,me?im used to my bandit doin a tyre in 2000 miles so trail attack for me,off road?dont even think about it,
