The web site says they are available in GS sizes

but has anybody got them yet?

If so what do you think of them?

Just off the phone with the Continental bike tyre people 01970 624004

The guy says that the front is not available quite yet , they expect them in May
He's E-mailing the Fatherland and will get back to me with more info

I can't comment on the Road Attacks, but I do have the Sport Attacks fitted to my Aprilia Tuono factory, one word for them-EXCELLENT!

Just had Road Attacks fitted to the RT. (£182 for the pair fitted to the bike at Micheldever). Only done 60 miles so a bit early to judge but initial impressions are VERY confidence inspiring and (or maybe but) a harder ride - at the same pressures.

Previously had Pilot Roads. Difficult to say how much of the difference is from having changed from a shagged and very weirdly shaped front and squared off rear. The tyres, the tyres before you smart alecs get in with the comments. :D

Had Road Attacks fitted to my CBR6 recently .. agree with above .. very confidence inspiring & plenty grip but too early to say how well they'll last.

had the road attacks fitted to my gs with alloys and

unimpressed ...

in the dry and warm conditions when there new there fine , loads of grip
but as soon as it gets cool/cold they turn to crap and start sliding everywhere
and then wet ... ahahah .. on a boring well surfaced wet road there fine , not great but perfectly useable , but throw in a few white lines / overbanding / polished or rough surfaces and they become scary . so scary i replaced them eairly as i was getting to the point i was woring about riding in the wet with them.

i lie i replaced the rear as it was getting low (ile get to that soon) and the front had quite a bit of tread and being a dispatcher i dont get rid of tyres without a real reason!

the rear only lasted 5thou miles and it was on the wearbar so was dead
the front was still very useable but now 2-3thou on and it getting tragicly bad its scaloping (the tread blocks arent wearing flat) and gives a vauge feeling when cornering and let go of the bars in a straight line and they wobble ...

so all in all back to 020's for me , they last 8-10k and i can easily scrape the rockercovers with them on...

oh and as u may have gathered im a dispatcher and ride very quickly.
I tried running tkc80's as a road tyre and i destroyed them in 1thou miles and had more slides in that thousand miles that i have ever had in my life , just an example of my riding style .

oh ps i got a pair of conti road attacks for 130quid delivered thats 120/70-17 and 170/60-17 ... i get 020's for 160quid0 a pair in the same size .. the guy does them in the standard gs sizes (wire wheels) to for 160quid
