Had mine replaced today. Originally fitted July 09 and covered 11600 miles. Nicely worn and still rounded. Chuffed with them really. Replacements are the same again of course.

no. the last (first pair i had) pair must have done about 4/5K and went with the bike when i traded it.
there was quite a lot of tread left though. more than i would have expected from a tourance, which was the only other tyre i'd used at the time.
might have got 8K
edit: current GSA was fitted with tourance EXPs, which i generally liked, but they were noisy when new, and only managed 6K. otherwise very nice, but no better than trail attacks which are quieter, last longer and are cheaper

Interested in this thread 'cos I was going to fit some Trail Attacks to my GS, but my preferred fitters said that Anakee 2's were a better bet. In the past my original Tourances lasted for over 10k and so have the present Storm/Azzaro set up. Still undecided and I know that we all have our favourites.

Had them on my bike from new, rear usually lasts 8k fronts about 11k, to be fair do 75% of riding 2 up and fully loaded. great tyres.

I’m impressed with Trail Attacks too, about 9,000 from the first rear and I changed the front at the same time ‘cos it was pretty worn, although not quite dead. The second rear has squared off a bit more than I was expecting, so maybe I’ve been on the motorway too much, but even it has done 6,900 miles so far and it’s got a few more to go yet. Good grip, wet and dry, too.
I've had trail attacks for 2 years now, and am suitably impressed with the performance & feel, in both wet & dry...
Am having a pair of Heidenau's fitted next week for the Morocco trip in April to allow for some piste action, but will then put the trail attacks back on once the Heidenau's are done.

How hard do you guys ride? I'm due a new set of Tyres, my rear Tourance will be pushed to make 6k!
I've never made the rear tyre on a bike with c. 100 bhp last much more than 4.5K miles.
However, there's an enormous disparity between the wear rates of motorcycle tyres when ridden on smooth road surfaces and on fine, grippy, Scottish tarmacadam.

Both Trail Attacks I had on my GS lasted about 5500 miles with the front lasting 8000. About half the mileage was on tour, the rest on Weekend rideouts.

Just had a set of Trail Attacks fitted to my 2010 GSA ... M&P were doing a pair for £165 .... just checked and they've now gone up to £189 ....
They've made a massive difference to the bike ... it just drops into corners now and feels a lot more planted ...
Just wondering what pressure people are running these at ?? Only ask because i've noticed a shimmy from the front end around 50 - 60mph now ... suspect it's tyre pressure related ...

In 9 years I had all sorts on the 1150 from Michelin t66's ,Tourances,
Distanzias,Annakees, Michelin Pilot Road 1 and 2 's and finally Trail Attacks. They were by a long chalk better than any of the others.
I know the lad I sold the bike to and they have now done 6K and look about 1/2 worn.
My 1200 has tourance EXP's on and the rear is 2/3 worn after 4K and they will be replaced with Trail Attacks in the next 3 months before I go away on holiday.
I also run my modified katana on Road Attacks and they are excellent on it.
