loftyboy, what mounts do you use for when they on the bike like GunZenBomZ got on his? Are they Ram mounts? Also, are fish eye lenses available for these cameras?

GunZenBomZ, you have to upload a video with the different cameras edited as one. Sure it will be cool......:rob

Having just watched that-the quality is MUCH MUCH better than that uploaded to Youtube.

In the bottom right corner of the Youtube video screen is a wee drop-down (rise-up?) which lets you select the quality - where it says 360p. In standard format it's poor, but you can watch it in 1080 if you choose.

The handle bar mounts are Contour own brand see image.....

No the only lense attachments are:

The Lens Kit is a little TLC for your ContourHD or VholdR Wearable Camcorder. It includes extra lens covers and even a replacement Lens Ring for when you put it through the ringer. And even better, with the Lens Adaptor Ring, you can now screw on a standard 37mm lens filter to get the perfect shot in the toughest lighting conditions.

Cheers Mate, might just take one at the end of the month if the other half does not find out. :beerjug:

Mine arrived yesterday. Used it on the way home straight out of the box.

Definitely a good piece of kit, good quality output and "plug and play" :thumb2

I'll stick an order in on the site :D

Are they Ram mounts?

They do a universal mount adaptor which I've ordered. It will allow the camera to be fixed to the usual 1/4"-20 screw adaptors for cameras. I've got one of those on a RAM mount for stills cameras, so I'll be able to use the video camera on my ram mounts now.

The contour mount hasn't arrived yet, had to be shipped from the US. Piccy shows what it is.

My ram mount set up is similar to the other picture, they do the photo plates seperately as well. Once I get all my bits lined up I'll post a few pics of my set up.

Mine arrived yesterday - Cheers Lofty ;)

have not worked out how to get the mount supplied (Ie Flat Surface one and goggle one) to seperate and don't want to break it with brute force. The flat surface mount should twist and the inner part seperate from the outer part ? if so is there an easy way to do this as mine shows no sign of movement whatever I do ?

Tip the Nokia 3610i batteries are the same as the camera batteries so if you have an old phone laying around might come in handy

Easiest way is to attach the camera to the mount, You can then just pull the flat surface bit off (they're attached with velcro which is why it won't move)

The inner bit then goes into the goggle mount.
