Just thought I would share,on the off chance anyone would be interested.:blagblah

On Saturday I bought a topcase advertised by a motorbike shop on E-blag.,made by coocase.

Previously I was given a rear Givi rack for a cbr 600 from Stujw70 of this
parish. With the intention of modding it to fit my Xmoto 650.

Anyhow on closer inspection the rack was a near perfect fit for the R1100r,
just a little bit of cutting, welding and sanding required before re-painting and lacquering.
Ready for fitting the TT alloy base plate that had been in the shed for almost two years.

I set of too the bike shop to view the top case with an assortment of tools on board,(spanners ,sockets, hex keys a battery drill and some drill bits).

What a revelation !,
four of the holes in the new top case lined up perfectly with my base plate,
so i bought it and quickly fitted it outside the shop.
(15 minutes to provisionally fit it for the journey home)

Once home i set about soldering the electrics into the bike,
(alarm,brake lights and remote locking)
