OK, so who has actually bought a Cool Cover and who has bought a cheap Chinese equivalent?

Any thoughts before I shell out £110?

I am trying to add a little comfort to the seat, so any other ideas?

My thoughts? The Cool Cover price is way out of whack. I bought these from China land - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32887656652.html for a fraction of the price and they are perfectly up to the job.

They also provide a little extra bit of bounce so it might hep with your hunt for extra comfort...:thumb2
 
I bought mine from Cool Covers as wish to support a uk company … just saying.
Great product that works , cool air where you need it with that spring feel.

I bought a genuine rider seat Cool Cover from the BMW Motorrad days a couple of weeks ago. Used it on the return trip (6 days of riding). It was definitely cooler in the nether region, which made the ride more comfortable. Heat aside, the cover does provide a bit of relief buy allowing an excellent extra layer of give under you.
 
Bought the cheap chinese ones , heading to the south of Spain next week , ill post how i get on with them once ive done a few miles !!
 
Bought cheap off aliexpress £6. Generic one in large size fits rider seat very well and same type of mesh as cool covers as far as I can tell. Bought it for extra cushioning and it works. Also allows you to move easily on seat to relieve pressure points. They also do rider\passenger set specially for 1200gs for £20.
 
Who’s messed about on here, deleting my replies and altering Victor’s entry. Very weird.

Actually that is about the best and most solid gear they sell, it is Tractive suspension, but the whole lot is more solid than a simple tractive replacement.
