I bought the Chinese version and fitted for latest trip. Was 37 degrees yesterday out of Switzerland and into Italian Alps, and though hard to be sure, I think it was an improvement over the bare seat in terms of comfort and heat dissipation, as my backside was not the part worst affected by the heat!

I've found these all over the place with varying prices. Not sure if they are all of equal quality or not. Im thinking these wouldnt be a big loss if they turned out to be crap. Dont know what to do TBH, do you get a better product paying 6 or 7 times more ? i doubt it. Probably have a punt on these cheapo jobbies and see whats what.:thumb:blast:D

Worth a punt ?

Hi Del, I bought these from eBay and should get it delivered Friday. I'm off to Wales this weekend so will test it out and report back after the weekend.

I also found the actual spacer material on eBay which is 8mm thick. If you know someone that's handy with a needle and thread, you could make your own. It is £14/m

I've had my Chinese one fitted to the rider's seat since last November and after 5k kms, there is absolutely no fraying or tearing whatsoever in the product. Velcro straps are all working perfectly. Tbh, I can't find any difference in it to the way it was when I first fitted it to the saddle. Hard to see how the same item costing several multiples more can be any better....

+1 on that got the Chinese ones ages ago, simply perfect and in this heat, just got back from a 2 hour ride, boiling outside, no heat issues at all.

Ok im not in any hurry, i will wait and see how you get on with them. Im sure they will be fine and dont see how paying much more buys a better product. :thumb2:D
