Hi all

I`m pretty new to this whole GPS thing and have been trying to get my head around waypoints, POI`s etc etc meantime I`ve tried numerous sites which do GPX route mapping for you to Google maps and so far I think I`ve found a pretty good one and easy to use and free at http://triptracker.net or http://triptracker.net/profile/craigm if you want to look at my 1st attempt. It allows you to do a kind of mini blog as well as uploading and plotting your photos, it does a corellation between the date time stamp on your digi photos and the gpx route info and maps where you were at the time the photo was taken on to your route map.

Some of the other sites I`ve looked at seem to be dead slow and drawing the map or are just plain crap, this one seems to be pretty good as well as having the whole travelogue and photo thing built in.

Anyway, I think it`s pretty cool and the easiest one I`ve seen to use to date. Oh and it`s FREE

Should be ok now, found the edit menu :)
Just toggled through your pictures as the map moves to where they were taken, its a dammed good way to show where you've been, you get a very good idea of the terrain, well done :thumb2

Stunning, especially if you click onto "zoom into large map" and then you get the big map with the picture overlaid and the map moves to correspond with location. Like it , nice on Kev:thumb2 How long , roughly did it take you to do that?

Thanks mozza666:bow
