How can I copy and paste a photo on my iPad into a post on UKGSer? The "paste" option doesn't come up, only the "select" and "select all" options.

Can not do it using the web browser but you can if you use tapatalk, there is a little icon which resembles a small hill next to the camera icon in the reply option which lets you add a photo from your iPad.

Ah, I can see the symbol you mean, but the photo I want to copy is one I have just taken on the iPad inbuilt camera.

When you press the icon that looks like a hill it should auto throw you into your photo albums then find the photo you want to upload and press upload. Done

Sounds like you haven't got the latest version of TapaTalk installed on your device. Go to the App Store and check for an updateSo does mine, just tried it
TapaTalk ... lost me there ... I do have the App Store icon on the desktop (or whatever they call it on the iPad) but there are only updates for other things in there but not TTalk. And it needs a password. So that's me fecked, then.
