Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the 2007 and 2008 models of the R1200 GS? I am looking for a Corbin front seat to replace the original low seat on my July 2008 bike but the Corbin catalogue and M&P's web page only go up to 2007. Only had the bike for a couple of days but the low seat has next to no padding in it and my butt hurts after only 20 miles!!!
:tears

Corbin seat is by far the best and most comfortable seat. Get the heated version... I know you don't need it, but once you've had to use it you'll love it.

Pretty sure its the same for 2007 and 2008.

corbin??? Not now!!!

Couldn't wait the 10 weeks  for a Corbin. So have ordered a Touratech Comfort "High End - Actively-Breathing" seat. Sounds impressive and only 10 days delivery :) Only time will tell if I've made the right decision though.

Probably a good idea. The Corbin is actually quite wide since it's designed for fat Merkin asses, so it can make reaching the ground a bit harder. Also, Corbins are pretty heavy and if you turn them upside down they look like they were make by a blacksmith. Having said that, I had one on my VFR and it was very comfortable. Mind you, I find my OE BMW low seat to be quite comfortable.

However.......10 days delivery from Touratech...!?!?!? I'll believe it when you get it.....
